 Hi there,

Dr. Peter Lynch,

Tri States Chiropractic. Hey,

wanted to give you a quick video here. I’ve been seeing a lot of things this week pertaining to tingling to the fingers. Specifically the pinky,

the ring finger,

and even the middle finger. But it can occur in the thumb and ring finger as well. But what I’ve been seeing is just a lot of people coming in and this area of their spine has been really sore.

So kind of think of the base of the neck

and into the shoulder blades feeling really sore,

achy,

but at the same time maybe with sleep. Driving a car,

putting your hands out like this,

using an iPad,

they’re experiencing that tingling and sometimes that can be constant, and other times it can be episodic,

but it still occurs.

And what I’ve been finding by adjusting these areas here,

base of the neck to upper back,

we can get that tingling under control

and even have it stop. Now,

sometimes it can occur because our muscles are too tight. So I wanted to give you a stretch that maybe can be very helpful to allow this to maybe relieve some of that tingling you’re feeling.

What you can do is put your hands behind your back. I always like to grasp my wrist when I pull backwards and down on my wrist

and I bring my chest out. You’re going to feel the stretch right through here. If that feels really tight

and possibly sore there’s a good chance that may be causing some of that tingling at night.

If you think if you sleep on your side

and you’re crushing that area All the neurology and blood supply goes right down through this area. So chances are that might be causing the problem. If you find that you’re still sore through here after doing some stretching and it hasn’t fixed any of that,

there’s a good chance you might need to give us a call,

get us in.

We’ll take a look at your spine and see if you have subluxation in that area. Remember

subluxation is the bone has shifted,

putting pressure on the nerve. Makes sense that could cause some tingling. Give us a call. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thanks. Have a great day.
